Well today started as just another day at work, I thought. As the day progressed I went out into our Fabrication Shop and discovered this ! In case you're wondering what it is (like me) it's called an "Argentine Steak Grill". My husband, DJ, loves to cook and he enjoys coming up with new recipes and ways of cooking a steak. After spending a lot of time surfing the web, he discovered this type grill and decided it was the best kind out there, and he was going to make one. To the left is the fire box. After the wood burns down the coals fall to the bottom of the box. The cook will then shovel the coals over to the cooking area and they will cook underneath the grate where the steaks are. The grate can be adjusted up and down to cook your steak perfectly. It has a Cowboy design so it should fit in really well at the farm. Our guys at the shop finished welding it all together and it's been sandblasted and ready for a coat of paint tomorrow. Hopefully by the weekend we're going to try this big boy out and cook up some fresh steaks from the farm ! I'll take some pictures in the process and share with you all later.
See Ya'll Later
