Did someone say Cookies ??

These are the highlight of the afternoons here at Oak Hill Farms.  We started a few months ago trying to get the baby calves to come to us when we would ride out to the pasture for an afternoon leisurely ride, but they would all run away.  So one day, I brought along some cookies with us and started out throwing them towards the calves and eventually we have won their hearts !! Today, when they see us come out in the pasture on the Honda, they'll literally start running towards us and calling all their friends and mama's to come with them cause they know that Iced Oatmeal Cookies are coming soon !  We've gotten some to take them from our hands and others stand back and wait on the cookie to come flying towards them and land on the ground at their feet (#802 a/k/a Lil' Red is one of these).  I have won her heart but not her trust just yet.  #1234 just comes in there full speed like he runs the show.....but better watch out for his mama ! She's a Mean one....lol  #9 is a mama cow and she loves cookies too !
